Throughout the month, guests at any of TAFER’s luxury all-inclusive properties in Los Cabos, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta, can immerse themselves in an array of gastronomy, wellness, and cultural activities.

During Made in Mexico, guests will have the unique opportunity to savor a variety of authentic culinary events. These include special menus at each of the property’s signature restaurants, poolside welcome drinks and small bites highlighting regional ingredients; interactive mezcal and tequila tastings, along with classes conducted by local tequila makers who will share the spirits’ origin. Additionally, the resorts will offer cooking classes where guests can learn to make guacamole, desserts, mole, and other traditional dishes.

Cultural

The Made in Mexico event will pay tribute to Mexico’s Independence with an array of activities for guests of all ages to partake in and pay homage to Mexican heritage. From enhancing TAFER’s signature Family Program to hosting musical performances and beachside fiestas, guests can choose from a variety of culturally enriching activations. Families traveling with little ones will also enjoy hands-on crafts and activities at the onsite Kids’ Club, including Papel Picado décor, piñata crafting, Luchadores masks and Huichol figures, in-depth ceramics classes, learning about local fruits and vegetables, and much more.

Wellness Exclusive to the Cancun region during Made in Mexico, wellness enthusiasts visiting Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun and Villa del Palmar Cancun can book an authentic Mayan Healing Treatment throughout the entire month of September. The bespoke treatment will include a Mayan healing ritual, a gentle Rebozo massage, and the incorporation of Cancun’s indigenous ingredients, such as agave and cacao, for a complete restorative experience of both the body and mind.

Made in Mexico will take place from September 1-30, 2023, at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa and Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun, Villa del Palmar Cancun, and Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos. Made in Mexico events and activities will be complimentary for guests who purchase the Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive Plan and will include a mezcal welcome kit, in-suite daily traditional coffee “Café de Olla,” a romantic ritual massage for two, and more.
